About iSurveyDog

iSurveyDog LLC was founded by Brian Chou, an ophthalmic industry consultant and optometrist in private group practice in San Diego. In 2003, Dr. Chou requested a leading healthcare surveying company to administer a survey for his group practice. The estimate came in at $15,320 for just 200 completed patient responses collected in a year. The cost was not justifiable even for a group practice with significant economies of scale. So Dr. Chou developed his own system after studying the art and science of customer surveying. The present survey system provides actionable data to direct positive operational changes. To make this survey system available to other practices, www.iSurveyDog.com was launched in 2008. The website allows users to manage their account online, allowing them to design their survey, upload patient data, and view survey results.

The name, iSurveyDog, is a tribute to Dr. Chou's rescued collie-mix, Spencer. Spencer enjoys surveying his surroundings. Let iSurveyDog.com become your practice’s best friend!
